Two teams that are disappointed in their 2010 finish have come together on a deal...
Reds receive
OF Rasmus, Colby, $0.5m (P-2012)
P Motte, Jason, $0.5m (P-2012)
Cards get
OF Joyce, Matt, $0.5m (P-2011)
CI-MI Walker, Neil, $0.5m (P-n/a)
CI Inge, Brandon, $6m (2010)
Hate to see Walker and Joyce go, since I think they both have very bright futures ahead of them, but I have always been a huge fan of Rasmus. Whether or not he is on the Cardinals nest year remains to be seen, but I think he will produce big numbers even without Prince Albert.

Cardinals confirm. Did not want to trade Rasmus but we have an abundance of OFs and RPs. This trade improves the MI and gives us an affordable CI.
