D Brian Campbell, $4.0m (2014-2015)

RW,C Patrick Sharp, $8.3m (2016-2017)
D Jordan Leopold, $0.7m (2013-2014)
9m cap hit

This only took 3 months to finalize. LOL
Sens get their guy Sharpie and I'm getting my boy Mikey AKA ex-Captain of the Black and Orange! I'm being forced to take Campbell's fat chunk of cap even though my Hawks once dumped him because he was costing us too much and we had to cut jock-straps from the team budget to compensate. :o  Ouch!

The bodies and cap balance out roughly.

Ottawa management confirms this trade.
We had to move a couple of big contracts to add Patrick Sharp who also owns a hefty annual cap hit all by himself.

Like the Isls we've also feel it's time to move on with Nino.

We are very happy to add Sharp to the Sens roster.

PS It actually only took 4 weeks to get this deal done with the summer layoff and all.

sure. looks balanced enough with :OTT: taking a huge cap hit on 1 player while :CHI-NHL: is saddled with the extra million in salary but gets 1 great player, 1 great prospect (Nino's still a prospect I suppose) and a decent blueliner with a big contract.
