Title: Phillies-Angels strike a deal
Post by: papps on July 19, 2013, 12:13:12 AM

Phillies receive:
MI Valbuena, Luis, $0.5m (2014)

Angels receive:
C Jimenez, AJ, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Phillies do this deal for some depth. With my trade for Montero I felt Jimenez was expendable.

Thanks Brent for the easy deal!  :toth:

Thanks for the easy deal.  This deal is going to be one of many in the rebuild of the Angels.  I took over a pretty horrible team, but plan to build it from the ground up.
