Just a note to let you know that today was the deadline for our Fantrax fees to be paid, and since I haven't heard anything from Colby, I went ahead and paid the fees for the 2019 season so there wouldn't be any interruption in our play. We are completely full at the moment, so I'm hoping that our current season is filled with spirited competition and continued activity.
Just a reminder, since we do our best to mirror MLB, we will not have a waiver period this season because MLB has set July 31st as the sole deadline for trades. MLB has done away with the August waiver trading period, so as such, so will Franchise GM. I posted this in an earlier News Flash and no one seemed to have an issue with this, so I'm guessing that it has your blessing.
Even though I try and keep your rosters up-to-date and in sync, there are going to be times when players are left off your rosters. If I notice such an issue, I will alert you via PM, and I would hope that if you notice something you will alert me via PM so I can address it. I log on regularly and try to make the necessary roster changes within a few days of your posted transactions, but sometimes I miss things, so I will rely on each of you to alert me if there is a problem.
Finally, Fantrax has made it a little harder for me to quick check weekly SP/IP, but please note that in FGM we allow each team to have 8 SPs per weekly and a maximum of 65 IP. You can easily self-monitor your totals by clicking on the "Live Scoring" option and self-police. Your help with this is greatly appreciated.
