Title: DNHL Commisioner

With Rob being chiseled down by our relentless questions and trying to skirt rules we need a new Commish.

I had an idea to bring in an outsider who was in insider in Snugerud (aka Jared) to be the Commissioner.  He knows the league.  He knows all of us.  Plus it will bring that element the real NHL has in that the person presiding over everything has no direct stake in the decisions outside of what is best for the league. 

Anthony and myself will do the administrative stuff (if anyone wants to volunteer to help Anthony with Fantrax that might be appreciated).     

Snug has graciously accepted if we should choose him and would steer the direction of the league/squash dissent. 

I even already have something for whomever our new Commish is to rule on.

Thoughts?  Anyone else want to throw their hat in for league runner?

I would approve that move. Hats off to anyone who wants to take over Commish duties. I would have offered, but time isn't in abundance at the moment with work starting to ramp back up. Had it been 3 months ago, I would have had all the time in the world haha. I could still help out Snug if he needs it.

I can chip in here and there if necessary overall, although with Anthony and GDB already doing stuff, not sure it's necessary.

The more hand on deck for Fantrax the better for quicker transactions.

so should we make this official and get this going, maybe get new dates for off season deadlines?

i am fine with it.  I am still getting up to speed.  I think first order of business would be to find a new GM for Detroit.  It looks like all the other teams were fairly active from what I can tell. 

NHL playoffs are set to finish on Oct 3 with the draft for Oct 6th. 
Give teams a week to pick their NHL draft keepers , so start the supplemental draft for Oct 13th. 

I am thinking there is enough time after playoffs to do the extensions and could do them at the same time as the supplemental draft.  ( assuming most would want to see the playoffs sort out before deciding on who to extend. )
