* Expansion Draft to take place July 1-7, 2021 TBD

* Total salaries of Expansion Draft players must be minimum of $46.5m (60% of 2020-21 FNHL Cap Ceiling of $81.5m - MINUS additional 5% rollback).

* Cannot Buyout Expansion Draft Players before April 15, 2021 - but can trade them.

* Any original Seattle Expansion Draft player can be designated a Franchise Player.

Note: Cannot sign active Free Agents during the 2020-21 season; can trade for MiLR players anytime before expansion draft.

Endgame gave a good example of letting go of Anaheim before taking over Seattle if he's chosen to run the Kraken.
I think the goal is to invite the best hockey people around.

Don't get me wrong, I think we have a great group of owners in FNHL (I'm actually shocked I haven't sniffed a trace of drama in FNHL. Definitely rare and welcome in fantasy sports). But we want new playmates in this sandbox don't we?

More so than taking over an existing franchise, not saying it can’t be done. I just think an experienced GM is better suited for the task of ground up. A new GM usually gets a tad bit overwhelmed with all the rules and contracts ect. Just my 2 cents

I do agree on the quality of GMs we have here now, I remember my first year in FNHL there was some drama. That’s all been cleaned up, this is hands down the best league around.

For sure. We want motivated people in this sandbox. We're soon going to be 32 teams deep and we don't want anyone letting a franchise slide to the point of no return in FNHL. We want gents to step up and fight for the pot of gold at the end of the FNHL rainbow. :taco::winner::win::money:

:iatp: Sorta wish I waited for Seattle but at the same time I'm loving my team. The previous owner did a great job setting it up. Lots of TLC in Carolina.

New, existing or former owners are all welcome to submit their interest. I think FNHL Seattle Kraken will be a strong team out of the gate in 2021-22.

:SEA-NHL: All 7 interviews with prospective FNHL Seattle Kraken owners are done! Took 3 days! New owner will be announced October 31, 2020 here and on FNHL-Fantrax. :SEA-NHL:

We had plenty of great discussions about FNHL, hockey, fantasy sports, politics and paying for kids' private schools (WHAT THE...)! We have a winning group in FNHL. I'm loving the level of competition & hky knowledge in FNHL. Everyone's a professional and we will soon get deeper when we add franchise #32 to the line up! :SEA-NHL::win::SEA-NHL:
