Title: Indians/Cardinals deal 11/6/19 5:21 pm ET

Diego Cartaya .5(P-n/a)
Julio Pablo Martinez .5(P-n/a)
Seth Romero .5(P-n/a)
Sean Ried-Foley .5(P-2022)

:STL: receives:
Yadier Molina 6.5(2021)
3.5M pd in 2020
4.5M pd in 2021

Yadi certainly isn’t what he used to be, but acquiring him gives me some additional depth and protection behind the plate. Having both Yadi and Knizner on my roster means I’ll most likely have the starting  :STL: catcher for at least the next 2 years and hopefully longer. Giving up some prospect depth to grab him, but I’m confident in my ability to replenish my minor league system through the draft and free agency. Thanks Brian and good luck!

Indians agrees to trade. I wanted to teade molina for one reason he isnt what he use to be. With me have young debth at catching i can use the roster spot for other free agents. I also get a little bit of cap space back and i get some young specs that can help my team in near future.
