I have talked with Colby and we will be reaching out to fill two (2) TC vacancies.  You should see this happen soon.

Papps, PHI, will be filling one of the positions on the TC.

Jake has joined as well.

Both guys are vets that have a very good feel for the league.

Thanks

Dan Wood is not on TC anymore.  I talked with Colby and we went with a 6 person TC.  I believe the other spot was vacant.  We were having a problem with getting the appropriate votes on all of the trades over the last 5 days.

Guys,

We have a TC in another of my leagues.  We have an odd number of owners to avoid ties, plus we have 2 alternates in case the trade involves two owners on the TC.  Also, we have a 48 hour time limit for the TC to rule on the trade.  It's a simple yes/no vote.

Are there any formal rules regarding the TC?  I took a quick glance, and maybe I missed it.  I am curious about the number of TC members and how many votes are required to approve a trade.

Roy,

It used to be there.  Currently it is 3 approvals to approve a trade of the 6 on TC.

With the two new members, we have seven (7) members on the current TC.  We are confirming the all of the previous members still want to remain on.  We are discussing your other suggestions, with Colby on vacation, this may not happen til he gets back.

Two votes against are enough to veto right?

I believe so, GMs are offered a renegotiation at that time.

FYI, the Pirates/Yankees deal was approved 4-2.

Deals that involve zero TC members can be approved 4-2, 4-1, 4-0
Involving one TC member can be approved 4-1, 4-0
Involving two TC member can be approved 3-1, 3-0

A simpler way of saying what you said might be:

Trades involving 0 TC members require 3 vetoes to disapprove.
Trades involving 1 or more TC members require 2 vetoes to disapprove.

I'm not sure why there would be a different standard for TC members.

i would think the reason is the TC members in the trade shouldnt be able to vote....

We could have two alternates in case the trade involved 1 or more TC members.

I think this would be a good improvement.
