Indians trade:
SP Arihara, Kohel, $5.5m (2024)
X-Arihara, Kohel, Cash Exchange, $5.0m in 2021
X-Arihara, Kohel, Cash Exchange, $2.0m in 2022-2024

Giants trade:
SP Mejia, Jean Carlos, $0.5m (P-n/a)

A risk/reward trade for both sides.  For the Giants, acquiring Kohel Arihara is a move for 2022 and beyond.  Hopefully he recovers from his shoulder injury and fulfills the potential the Rangers saw in him when they signed him.  Juan Carlos Mejia showed glimpses of what could be, so both teams, the Giants and the Indians, are rolling the dice in hopes that their newly acquired player reach the levels their MLB teams projected for them.

Indians agree i add a young sp i feel can help my team in long run while  i trade a pitcher that is injured and played yet this season kind scares me if he will be like he was a yr ago.
