Giants trade:
CI Green, Zachary, $0.5m (P-n/a)   
OF Fabian, Sandro, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Indians trade:
MI-OF Gordon, Dee, $10.5m (2021)
X-MI-OF Gordon, Dee, Cash Exchange, $10.5m in 2019
X-MI-OF Gordon, Dee, Cash Exchange, $3.0m in 2020
X-MI-OF Gordon, Dee, Cash Exchange, $3.0m in 2021

Giants are giving up a few prospects for a player who is a bit of an enigma.  Will Dee Gordon be the productive player he was prior to his PED suspension?  Or will he be the player who started out slowly in 2019?  Hopefully he will regain some of his mojo and will be a productive addition to the Giants lineup.  His $10.5m contract is a bit of an albatross, but with the Cash Exchanges, it will be a bit more manageable.  While I don't like to give up Giants prospects, particularly one like Zach Green, who seems on the verge of making it to the MLB after years of toil, sometimes we have to roll the dice on the here and now.  With the demotion of Luis Arraez, the Giants need that extra hitter to fill the utility spot, and with Gordon expected back from the IL in short order, hopefully, one has been found.

indians agree move a vet i wasnt that high on with a big contract for some young guys i like
