b. The Lou Lamoriello Award (for worst signing)
c. The Chuck Fletcher Award (for the best trade - *Commissioner selected)
d. The Glen Sather Award (for the worst trade - *Commissioner selected)

2. Extension Values Change
- Minimum changed for all postions
- Forwards - Over 100 receives $0.7m
- Defensemen - Over 110 receives $0.8m
- Goalies - Over 50 receives $1.0m
- This is to eliminate the cheap contracts and instead allow them to go to free
agency instead
3. Two-Way Contracts
- Now must be a minimum 2 years to eliminate the expensive 1 year contracts being
buried in the minors and cheap re-sign at end of season
4. Suggestion Box
- Seen this addition in another league and think it would be good to have as an
addition to this league. Simple place for owners to post what they want to see.
5. Header
- The header will be updated depending on what period of the season we are.
Formatted like this:
Fantrax Page - Handbook of Rules - Statistical Measure - Period Dependent
6. Penalties & Violations
- All previous penalties and violations will be abolished. This will allow for the new
tracker to be used and penalties and violations to be properly tracked.
7. New Boards
- Once the new system is working. There will be a better board system to view off-
season free agent signings, trades, in-season signings, drafts, etc.
There may be other changes upcoming but for a league to be successful there has to be adaptions to grow and become an even better league.
