First off I will be a serious and capable manager. But I need to get my legs under me first. This league is linked to a Fantrax site? If yes how do I get there. I want to adjust my 30 man roster. The prospects roster will obviously only have players that don't make NHL roster and meet the prospects criteria? Right. I will have to view the 30 man roster, assess it . I believe you should have an invite into fantrax at the email address you provided me. You can PM me if you need to know which that was. You simply follow the link provided in the email. There you will find your roster for weekly adjustments and scoring purposes. All transactions will occur here at profsl, within this forums boards, and the staff of the league will update your rosters for Fantrax and this website as well.
You should track all you think you will need to remain competitive in this league. You must determine what you think is a winning strategy; by remaining under roster limits and within cap limits. We also have a draft, free agency and trading deadlines to mimic the actual NHL. You need to be familiar with players to remain competitive for years. You will have a minor league system of 10 players. These are some changes that make us different than a yahoo league or etc.
There are multiple sources which are useful outside of the fan forums here at profsl. Hockeybuzz.com or Hockeyboards etc. These have great advice. I also use other means to measure player performance. The choice is yours.
Check the rules section if you need clarification. If you want to change a rule or add one, or delete one, make the suggestion to the rules committee.
We are in the process of finalizing rosters and filling open gm spots. If you have friends, by all means reference them to this league. You need to propose a ten person minor league roster, and make any changes to your roster (by adding or subtracting players from your real teams roster), do that in the appropriate topic on the Franchise NHL homepage.
