Simon Gagne has been traded to the Flyers for a 4th round pick in the 2013 entry draft. This could become a 3rd round if the Flyers make the playoffs.

I don't mind this move by the Flyers as Gagne is in the last year of his contract and give them some depth and a veteran that played well enough in the playoff last year.

Agree on the little risk.  I also think this is to help them through some of their injuries.  Gagne makes a lot of sense.
