Curtis Granderson out for 10 weeks
« on: February 24, 2013, 06:43:13 PM »
In Granderson's first spring training at bat, J.A. Happ of the Jays hits him with a pitch. He made his way down to first base, but after some discussion with the training staff, the Yankees took him right out of the game. I thought this was just a precautionary measure at first, being an exhibition game and all, but it turn's out to be bad news for the Yankees. This will be a blow to their outfield, who just got Brett Gardner back.

Juan Rivera and Matt Diaz may be a good short-term fantasy pickup for those in deep leagues, while Curtis Granderson is on the DL.

Likely the best thing J.A. Happ will do for the Jays all year.
