Lampard sets new record
« on: February 19, 2013, 01:03:59 PM »
Frank Lampard has set a new record for goals scored for Chelsea FC.
He beats the previous record by hitting 200 goals for the club. He adds this to his other records including most goals scored by an EPL midfielder.
He has had a row over his contract with the club but should have a new deal coming if he continues to score. Will he get that deal or move to LA Galaxy this summer?

You think he would stay in the EPL for a short-term deal rather than a big deal with a MLS club.  We have said this before though, and some Euro stars have moved over to the North American circuit.

Galaxy... besides the money... he would be the most famous soccer player in the country. Big ego boost for sure

Chelsea are expected to renew his contract at the end of the season. Club owner Roman Abromavich gave in after Lampard netted 10 goals in 12 games in recent weeks.

  • brandonj2262: Daddy you had no draft picks to trade in the deal you linked. First round pick was Washington’s, 2nd round pick was Cleveland’s from a deal on July 19 and San Francisco had your 3-5.

  • brandonj2262: Not that it changes your trade today, just makes the last trade lind for Yasmany with no picks.

  • Jonathan: Foles should be fine. He certaintly won't have a 90% td rate in the red zone with no interceptions or 50% conversion rate on 3rd down, but what other QB does that? He does inherit the top scoring offense, who also leads the league in time of possession and a team that is 2nd overall in rushing. Very similar offense to the one he had in 2013 here.
