When was the last time a game came down to a safety kick?

I thought the 49ers play calling sucked through the whole game, the Ravins Safety was an amazing call.

San Francisco could have fair-catched the ball to give them four seconds for a play.

I said you have to put that ball in your QBs hands everytime as he is your money maker and usually your best player. The only way I would let my returner return that is if it was Hester

  • Dan Wood: I have a feeling that two SD signings from last year will reach the drop pile
    Today at 07:23:39 PM
  • 9inches: It's funny. Shields was signed at market value... he, of course just didn't keep up that value (not quite).

  • Dan Wood: Murphy was like the last FA signed

  • Scalious: Got'm for 5 M in ML... But nothing tops paying Chris Young 9.6 M per
    Today at 07:28:17 PM
  • 9inches: yeah... i thought i might swipe him at $3m/yr... but him and barney were driven up when we got a couple new GMs
    Today at 07:28:33 PM
  • 9inches: I kinda like the Rays philosophy with their RPs... overpay, but low years. I realize that doesn't work that well with MB rules$
    Today at 07:29:56 PM
  • 9inches: but..
  • 9inches: white or black CY?$
  • 9inches: though it doesn't matter for your point.
  • Scalious: We only have limited farms.. So its easier to take fliers on up and coming RP. While in the real MLB. The better upside RP arms have to be traded for.

  • Dan Wood: C B Young got paid last season
    Today at 07:32:55 PM
  • 9inches: no. no. I meant in general... i'm ok with overpaying, if its a one year deal... i hate overpayment for 4 and 5 year deals (if you are planning to keep the guy).$
    Today at 07:33:36 PM
  • Scalious: Oh. Yes. I agree. I like higher AAV short term deals
    Today at 07:34:14 PM
  • Scalious: Keeps future cap flexablity
    Today at 07:34:28 PM
  • Corey: 9 picks in BTL today. Thats more like it
    Today at 07:36:01 PM
