Rondo out for year
« on: January 27, 2013, 04:07:39 PM »
Rondo has been diagnosed with a Torn ACL. The Celtics' season just went from bad to worse with the loss of their best player.

Any Rondo fantasy owners might want to grab a new PG for the rest of the season.

Cool now the Celts can trade their vets for younger talent, we had no chance of beating the Heat this year anyways! So is Avery Bradley the new PG?

I've been thinking that all year. It's time for them to start building around Rondo (though that will have to wait till he returns in up to a year).

Pierce and Garnett should be traded for young talent and draft picks.

I believe that Bradley will be starting at PG in place of Rondo

Who would have thought that the Celtics and Lakers would both be done before the all star break!

D Howard for Pierce and KG!?

I dont think that the Lakers are done.

I have to agree here. If the Lakers keep playing like they have the past 2 games, then their playoff hopes are very much alive. I still think they could sneak into one of the lower seeds (I see them getting #7 seed then upsetting the Spurs in the 1st Round)

I also don't think the Celtics are done either. They still have a legit change at a low seed in the weak Eastern Conference

Theres a rumor that the Celtics send Pierce to Memphis, Memphis sends Gay to LA, and LA sends Pau to the Celtics.  Id rather send Pierce to Memphis for Gay straight up. Memphis is trying to get under the cap and Pierce makes like 4M next year and Gay makes around 17M.
