You have 2 options.
1. You can either give him a prospect contract (with a .2m signing bonus since you offered .4m), and be able to send him to the minors, but since he is over 40 games played he would have to be extended this offseason
2. Offer him a 2 year contract at .2m a year, but he can not be sent down to the minors
