LAA/CIN Agree to Trade
« on: January 07, 2013, 01:05:41 AM »
CI-OF Cuddyer, Michael, $8m  (2013)
X Cuddyer, Michael, $-1.5m [paid by Others]
X Cuddyer, Michael, $-6.5m [paid by :LAA:]
C Strahan, Stryker, $0.3m (P-n/a)

for

CI Smoak, Justin, $0.3m (P-2013)
OF Young Jr, Eric, $1.5m (2015)
SP Pineda, Michael, $0.4m  (P-2014)
C Torrens, Luis, $0.3m (P-n/a)

Dealing from (cheap, young, talented) depth to acquire multi-positional contributor.  Because I have not cap available due to recent trade(s) and open FA bids, :LAA: picks up the remaining $6.5m on Cuddyer's expiring contract.

Angels agree!

After reviewing my team. We needed depth and by trading an aging player that will not be keep next year for a few controllable players was worth the risk.
