Bill Cowher becomes HC
Gailey and Wissenhunt join staff
Eagles draft Manti Teo and then a QB in the second round (or perhaps an OL)

Can't see this happening..honestly though, is the Eagles job really one that holds much attraction? The fans, the media, the pressure.

yes, for sure. Big market and most importantly.....they will give the next coach some time, like 5 years. Kc, cle, ari aren't giving that. Plus they got some talent.

I would love this scenario!

  • RyanJames5: It can be necessary in leagues that have bid limits but that hasn't come into play. That's the only reason for it to be ok IMO

  • RyanJames5: Or I guess if you're on for the first time in 48 hours but for most that's not the case.

  • indiansnation: Chrisetc sorry if i did that to u i didnt even notice it
    Yesterday at 10:38:09 PM
  • RyanJames5: 24 wouldn't make any difference with late bids though. It would probably make it worse

  • indiansnation: I hate that crap. If someone does that they should have to pay 2m more to do it

  • Mets Donations Accepted: No but I think you'd see guys cleared out quicker. I'm just thinking of how to move it along and not have guys sit up there for a week-10 days at a time

  • RyanJames5: Only reason I'm not really pissed is Castillo was probably a stupid bid for me anyway. I already may have 2 starting catchers and no starting 1B or 3B. I know I won't be in contention.
  • RyanJames5: I'd be in favor of a rule that limited it, but I just haven't seen one that really makes sense. Just irks me because I wouldn't do it to someone.  I'm on often enough that if I haven't bid on someone in the first 35-40 hours I don't need to

  • Jonathan: buyout rules prevent overpaying, for the most part. I am sure that will not apply to Mr. Trout
    Yesterday at 11:04:29 PM
  • chrisetc21: yeah, abl rules are much different
    Yesterday at 11:06:01 PM
  • RyanJames5: Haha I'm very interested to see what he ends up at. The Expos and all the cap will be a player.

  • indiansnation: Not going for alot in abl this yr plus i got 35m to spend on my team
    Yesterday at 11:07:24 PM

  • Jonathan: Got 17 open spots in MLB alone, on this team I am renting. 1 guy won't solve my problems.
  • RyanJames5: Yeah expos are in similar shape. Other than Trout I'm looking to fill spots on short contracts so that I can continue to build the minors.
  • chrisetc21: Trading me Bregman will help you build your minors, bigly, hugely
    Yesterday at 11:26:38 PM
  • Jonathan: wow, 6M for 5 yrs for Gurriel? I see what you guys are talking about, even the Real Jays didn't offer that.
  • chrisetc21: better hope he's not the next Rusney Castillo
    Yesterday at 11:32:54 PM
  • RyanJames5: Haha he's not untouchable, but it would take a ton For Bregman
    Yesterday at 11:52:40 PM
  • RyanJames5: Yeah I'd have given Gurriel a big bonus, because I'd get it all back, but no way I'd pay him like that yearly
    Yesterday at 11:53:17 PM
  • chrisetc21: I got at least three tons in my minors
    Yesterday at 11:54:32 PM
  • chrisetc21: ;)
  • Jonathan: Sox could manage with Rusneys contract given their payroll. Must be nice to blow 72M though
    Yesterday at 11:55:22 PM
  • RyanJames5: Your minors is just stupid
    Yesterday at 11:56:04 PM
  • RyanJames5: Feel free to send an offer on him. You definitely have plenty to get a deal done
    Yesterday at 11:57:24 PM
  • chrisetc21: alright, i sent you a pm before but you didn't answer, figured you weren't moving him
    Yesterday at 11:59:00 PM
