Imagine this for the Eagles
« on: December 31, 2012, 02:49:59 PM »
Bill Cowher becomes HC
Gailey and Wissenhunt join staff
Eagles draft Manti Teo and then a QB in the second round (or perhaps an OL)

Can't see this happening..honestly though, is the Eagles job really one that holds much attraction? The fans, the media, the pressure.

yes, for sure. Big market and most importantly.....they will give the next coach some time, like 5 years. Kc, cle, ari aren't giving that. Plus they got some talent.

I would love this scenario!

  • atombomb3776: Are you looking to compete in 2015 L&L?
  • LockedNLoaded: Not really because that's impossible with this team. Though I do want to field a decent team for the integrity of the league

  • atombomb3776: Yeah $4.1M
  • LockedNLoaded: Well you do have guys that interest me, but they are cheaper guys by coincidence so you are trying to unloaded one of your big contracts?
  • atombomb3776: Not necessarily a HUGE contract but 4.1M worth haha
    Yesterday at 08:15:02 PM
  • LockedNLoaded: Well I like: bogaerts, Castillo, Lindor, and Pompey at first glance
    Yesterday at 08:18:30 PM
  • atombomb3776: Yeah traded away Springer among others to land Castillo. Might be difficult to move him. I am basically in the same boat. Playing for the future. So moving Lindor and Pompey won't make much sense
    Yesterday at 08:23:45 PM
  • LockedNLoaded: Understandable man
  • LockedNLoaded: Would you trade bogaerts if we involved other pieces?
  • atombomb3776: Possibly. But again need to clear cap. What did u have in mind?
  • LockedNLoaded: What if we included rajai davis?
  • atombomb3776: Well being Bogaerts is under control for the next 5 years @ such a friendly contract.  I would need quite a bit back. But I could include Davis in a deal. That isn't a problem
