Mike Zunino leads Top 10 Catcher Prospects for Fantasy Baseball
« on: December 14, 2012, 05:41:14 PM »
Much of the catchers prospect class has dwindled over the past year.  Mike Zunino, who ranks 31st in our aggregate rankings, is giving the Seattle faithful plenty of hope.  Do you have him in your dynasty fantasy baseball franchise?

right, and his best assets are on the offensive, so I think he is top 3-4 for fantasy upside.

  • Corey: not that I know of

  • Corey: NBA is definitely garfield
  • Ace: my intuition is that Rendon signed a major league contract largely similar to others which specifies base salary for certain years
    Today at 12:19:40 AM
  • Ace: nba is me
  • Ace: i teach garfield now ;-)

  • Corey: Anyone who picks him, I would immediately say invalid
    Today at 12:23:46 AM
  • Ace: [link] bauer is more illuminating
    Today at 12:24:26 AM
  • Corey: Passed Rookie threshold in 2010 and has an expiring contract
    Today at 12:24:30 AM
  • Corey: Bauer is an FA
  • Ace: [link] no details for bundy
  • Ace: yeah i know, i'm trying to find the protocol for recent major league deals signed by draft picks
    Today at 12:25:36 AM
  • Corey: Hultzen is like Soler. Eligible for the MILR draft but you do not get the Prospect deal
    Today at 12:25:44 AM
  • Ace: hultzen would be p-2015 then, with a 430k contract seeing that we don't count signing bonuses
    Today at 12:28:40 AM
  • Ace: there's a difference between a draft pick signing a major league deal and an int prospect
    Today at 12:29:11 AM
  • kylerap: Corey what about Chris Davis? He's ran eligible but would have surpassed a P- contract like 4 years ago..
  • Corey: All P deals are 600k regardless
    Today at 12:29:24 AM
  • Corey: Davis is a FA
  • Corey: I checked on him when my pick was up
    Today at 12:30:01 AM
  • Corey: Should we compile a list of FA's?
  • Ace: maybe; thoughts on bauer?
  • Jpsprague10: Corey- probably couldn't hurt. But is a hug advantage not having one if you do your own homework.
  • Jpsprague10: *huge
  • Corey: Jp I agree 100% which is why I am against it
    Today at 12:34:13 AM
  • Corey: Same reason why I didnt post all players and there deals here like some guys wanted
    Today at 12:34:49 AM
  • Corey: Its a $$$ league so let guys do there work. You get what you put into it
    Today at 12:35:02 AM
  • Jpsprague10: I agree with that assessment.
  • Corey: too me thats half the fun.. finding your players at the cost you want
