I am a fan of using both major and mid-major.
CCD 2012-13 7th Seed in West/Lost in 2nd round

I also like the idea of having exclusive rights to X number of draftable playes in pro drafts

Doesn't really make it fair if a team has the top team but gets exclusive rights to a top 5 drafted player just because they are on your college team
