Rangers/Nats First trade in league history
« on: November 25, 2012, 04:05:40 PM »
:TEX: and :WAS: have come to the first deal in the history of Baseline Seats. No shocker when I took over  my first order of business was to sadly move a personal favorite of mine, Love Josh just think its better that I get someone more consitent. We at  feel we have done so in aquiring the following package of players

Gio Gonzales
Mike Morse
Desmond

head to :TEX: in exchange for

Josh Hamilton
Yu Darvish
Jurickson Profar

bap easy as always one offer one counter and a done deal.

Washington confirms

Glad to get Hamilton and Darvish,  not real sure about Profar in this league

Great dealing with you, Oudan

  • Scalious: RE: That thread in SD. 1.) Competeive balance should have relevance 2.) Yes people should still have the right to re-build 3.) Can't compare fantasy re-building to real life re-building. Real life Re-building is higher risk. and teams are still semi-competeive

  • Lindner: I never understood why people hate rebuilding teams so much.

  • Scalious: One of the reasons I joined MB. Was the Market Value Dynamic. I think its very creative to have incentives for teams to be competitive. even when they are not title contenders. A healthy league has more parody than disparity IMO. Still anyone should have the right to re-build. That shouldn't even be a question.

  • Scalious: Agreed Nick. Its your money. you can run your team any way you want. Still, competetive incentives would be a nice twist for any league

  • Brent: Agree guys.  I like to rebuild, it is what I did with my DME Giants, NE TB Rays and currently doing with my FGM Angels and have started the SD White Sox which were the topic of this conversation.
