Bryce Harper NL ROTY

Another beast.  Pretty amazing that baseball has two guys the caliber of Trout and Harper starting their careers at the same time.

The only award he deserved was most over-hyped. Trout and Harper are like night and day.

Still did pretty well considering he is a kid.

yeah, Frazier has him by 6 years. I just think he is given too much for his limited success. If he had a season like Trout, he would of won the MVP in a landslide.

Age shouldn't be a factor at least to a degree.  Frazier and Miley Cyrus deserved this one.

The age comment was more in reference to calling him overrated.

  • redbeard82: andybody in need of C or RP in 108?
  • Ace: ok, so in btn does marco gonzalez remain p/na until he surpasses rookie limits, then becomes p-17
    Today at 12:46:01 AM
  • Ace: and whilst still p can be released for free
    Today at 12:46:37 AM
  • Ace: then essentially team has $2m, $4m, $6m options (how do we show this in spread?)
  • andyscott23: time to call it a night..
  • Corey: Oncehe starts the clock in btn. contract gets changed too the new amounts.

  • Ace: i see ;-
  • Eric: New hockey league about to open doors :)
  • Ace: so i'll use ARB in spread; but Gonzales can be on a profsl ML roster with a p/na until he surpasses rookie limits? then part 2 would be btl, people mentioning p/na that surpassed rookie limits after aug 1st, should they now be p-arb (or p-2017 as we seem to be using i that league)
  • Corey: part 1 right. part 2 once fa slows down we will update the rodters
    Today at 01:15:49 AM
  • Ace: kk, random but i'd kinda like 5 more minors spots in btl; though i spose rebuilders can bump some to majors, kinda sucks for idiots like me though who don't have a set plan (just trying to have a good farm and no terrible mlb contracts)
