  • Jonathan: JBJ hitting streak over, unless they somehow bat around in the 9th
    May 26, 2016, 10:51:45 PM
  • pandoval172: the thing is, we knew those trades were bad from the start
    May 27, 2016, 05:38:31 PM
  • pandoval172: just had no idea how bad, how fast
    May 27, 2016, 05:38:37 PM
  • Jonathan: Julio Urias is said to be teenage pitching prodigy. From years of watching Dodgers my advice is to hope for best, expect worst.
    May 27, 2016, 05:56:30 PM
  • Scalious: talking about a 19 year old with a small frame and never pitched more than 90 Pitches a game or much more than 80 innings in a year. Don't know how much you can expect from this and next year other than hope he doesn't get hurt
    May 27, 2016, 06:11:01 PM
  • Scalious: He'll be fun to watch in what limited innings we see him id think
    May 27, 2016, 06:11:37 PM
  • Jonathan: De Leon should be primed to have a significant role this year. He has only pitched 5 innings this year, so far.
    May 27, 2016, 06:51:10 PM
  • Jonathan: They built him up to almost 120 last year.
    May 27, 2016, 06:53:34 PM
  • indiansnation: Hey scal and johnathan
    May 27, 2016, 06:53:44 PM
  • Jonathan: Send me Robles
    May 27, 2016, 07:03:52 PM
  • Scalious: Ha. I remember giving him a MLB contract
    May 27, 2016, 07:05:30 PM
  • Scalious: Mostly as a defensive move to keep him out of JPs hands
    May 27, 2016, 07:05:57 PM
  • Jonathan: Yeah, his value would be sky high if he had control and in minors. Not so much on a MLB deal.
    May 27, 2016, 07:10:46 PM
  • Jonathan: I tend to leave no money for latter on in year. I am in same boat this year. That is why I recently bid up a bunch of guys scoring points over waiting for j2 guys. I know teams have way too much cap for me to stand a chance lol
    May 27, 2016, 07:16:58 PM
  • cjbeckel: Jonathan, you sold me damaged goods, Cain couldn't even last two innings
    May 27, 2016, 11:30:13 PM
  • Jonathan: Coors field buddy. I told you that. Dont feel bad, I inherited Rockies to start with. No pitchers.
    May 27, 2016, 11:32:17 PM
  • Jonathan: I also inherited that farm way before it was good
    May 27, 2016, 11:32:58 PM
  • Jonathan: Cain pulled his hammy.
    May 27, 2016, 11:33:51 PM
  • Jonathan: JP when you get a chance, Anthony Bass never got removed from my team.
    May 27, 2016, 11:42:36 PM
  • Jpsprague10: I'll take care of it now
    Yesterday at 12:14:26 AM
  • cjbeckel: The Rox pitching staff...that is a tough place to start from
    Yesterday at 12:55:55 AM
  • Scalious: Espically in a league where TOR arms are king
    Yesterday at 12:57:15 AM
  • Scalious: Those huge negatives for pitchers giving up HRs can be killer in week to week
    Yesterday at 12:58:25 AM
  • Jonathan: The best hope is that they get traded to better place. Like Pomeranz
    Yesterday at 01:08:12 AM
  • cjbeckel: Really the only kind of pitcher that can make it in Denver is a guy like Ubaldo Jimenez
    Yesterday at 01:12:25 AM
  • cjbeckel: He had great movement on his pitches, especially down in the strike zone.  It was really hard to hit homers on that guy
    Yesterday at 01:15:29 AM
  • Jonathan: Rams have worst abbreviation in pro sports. I though it was a college. LARM
    Yesterday at 09:06:37 AM
  • Jonathan: Pretty sure LA would of been fine. Last I checked, there is only one team there.
  • themarksman13: Why not just LAR?
  • cjbeckel: Four of the top five SP in ML scoring will be free agents this offseason (Kershaw, Arrieta, Sale and Strasburg)!!
  • cjbeckel: Hey Scals are you the owner of Boston and looking for a GM or is it an open team?
  • Scalious: If someone wants to buy it. They can!
  • Scalious: Obivously not built to win this year. But stocked up the farm and tons of future cap to work with..
  • cjbeckel: What is the payment status for :BOS: ?
  • Scalious: Its Currently paid for this year at least
    Yesterday at 10:48:56 PM
  • cjbeckel: I could pay 2017 and onward for :BOS: if there is a good GM out there...
  • cjbeckel: Is there a good GM out there??
  • Scalious: lol.. I thought you were inplying you knew someone
    Yesterday at 11:21:28 PM
  • Scalious: I hired a guy..but he made 1-2 apperances so far
    Yesterday at 11:22:21 PM
  • Jonathan: He wanted Dansby, but wasn't willing to include any top prospects.  :P
    Yesterday at 11:26:20 PM
  • Jonathan: I want your best guy, buy so and so can't be in deal. Funny stuff.
  • cjbeckel: Jonathan gave a similar response regarding Jimmie in the new Payment Tracker Thread.  Well let’s give him a chance.  I’m open to helping out if we need to have an owner for that team moving forward.  In the meantime, it looks like we have a full 30 team league then!
  • cjbeckel: You cant deny that Dansby is a stud
    Yesterday at 11:30:27 PM
  • Jonathan: Yeah, but looking deeper.... he hasn't been on site since the 17th
    Yesterday at 11:30:48 PM
  • cjbeckel: Well, that was only 11 days ago, let's see what happens
    Yesterday at 11:35:23 PM
  • Jpsprague10: I would put the :COL: owner in the same boat. I've never looked for a replacement because CJ foots the bill. But he is/has always been a ghost.
  • Jpsprague10: I typically start monitering activity around this time so we have an idea of how much may need recruited for.
  • cjbeckel: Yes, Mike showed great promise and did a good job on cleaning up the roster.  I have been hopeful that he would return, but he has not logged in since Feb.  He put the ROX in a great position to move forward.  If he does not return this year I will consider him MIA, and do the work of rebuilding the ROX myself because :SEA: is far more marketable.
  • cjbeckel: Not everyone is as great as Calvin in :TEX:
  • cjbeckel: I personally really liked Mike, I hope he returns this year.  When here he is a very good member of ML
