Giants & Brewers
« on: November 08, 2012, 02:35:55 PM »
Brewers agree to send:
SP Peralta, Wily, $0.3m  (P-n/a)
5-9 MIL
6-9 MIL
7-9 MIL
7-29 MIL (VIA  Texas)
8-9 MIL

for Giants:
3-20 SF
RP Boxberger, Brad, $0.3m  (P-n/a)
SP Gregorio, Joan, $0.3m  (P-n/a)  <<"if approved send to minors and call up RP Bonilla, Lisalberto, $0.3m  (P-n/a) to MLB roster">>

Brewers make this deal to get 2 arms for 1. We are high on Boxberger and could use the young RP at MLB, also we get Gregorio to develope as a spec. Peralta is rated high and showed good stuff in 5 starts last year but we have plenty of good young depth at SP.

Giants to confirm
- Its the journey to winning that defines your character. If you cant handle losing then why compete at all?

Giants confirm.

We are trying to acquire starting pitching and felt this made sense.
