Which Commissioner Would You Vote for President?
« on: November 04, 2012, 10:35:48 PM »
Which Commissioner Would You Vote for President (or Prime Minister) of your country?  In the spirit of the United States' Presidential Election, we are holding a special two-day vote to pick the best of seemingly the worst!  Feel free to provide the entertaining reasons why you vote for a candidate.

If it has to be someone in sports, why not Billy Beane, he clearly knows how to get around having no money.

  • Vik: some crazy contracts for sure. Solis is at 11.5m bonus I got him at .5m for 3 years in bush and only cause I didn't have cap for the bonus at the time
    Yesterday at 01:57:35 PM
  • Jonathan: Comparing apples to oranges there. Big difference between 50 minor leaguers and over 200. Solis was the only prospect available with any sort of top 50 potential. The rest are all C+ guys or lower.

  • Jonathan: I'll have 60M to cover my arb deals, and wouldn't be surprised if I end with less than 20 after those.
  • Jonathan: That is the thing with FA too, I don't even know the cost of a lot of my better ones, as they're still in arbritration.
