Which Commissioner Would You Vote for President?
« on: November 04, 2012, 10:35:48 PM »
Which Commissioner Would You Vote for President (or Prime Minister) of your country?  In the spirit of the United States' Presidential Election, we are holding a special two-day vote to pick the best of seemingly the worst!  Feel free to provide the entertaining reasons why you vote for a candidate.

Give me vocal fans, pro or con, over the tourist types who show up in Houston or Montreal and just sit there." —Mike Schmidt, Hall of Fame third baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies :PHI:

I actually would prefer any of the 4 to the 2 we have to choose from..and that's not saying much really.

If it has to be someone in sports, why not Billy Beane, he clearly knows how to get around having no money.

  • Jdwalter21: Salary Cap was off by 2m for my white sox, i bid and won a player. Well the roster got fixed now i realize i don't have the cap space for him. Soo.... i wasn't sure how anyone wanted to handle it. I could make a trade to get under the cap or is it automatically an invalid bid, even tho at the time i thought i had cap. Not sure how they want to handle it.

  • kylerap: thanks for all the updates too!
  • Anelson: yeah. I may need to work on the wording in the rules
    Today at 12:34:30 PM
  • Anelson: I can change it to a "3 year extension"
  • Anelson: which is effectively a two year extension
    Today at 12:35:16 PM
  • Anelson: Maybe I'll make two sections in the rules so it is less confusing
