now that i've had a chance to update all rosters, salary caps, pg layouts, fantrax rosters (thx again Drew for the fantrax assistance!) over the past wk since signing on to co-commish FNHL... i think i should re-introduce myself to everyone...

BIO
i'm from Montreal / Toronto and i've signed on to be your co-commissioner working with SizzRat.

fantasy hky is one of my down-time activities when i'm not growing my consulting business and spending time with my family. i try to keep it balanced betw fun and competitive.

i've commish'ed a 16-team money league on CBS since 2008 (Motor City Smitty IV), and a great tiered 42-team league on Yahoo! (CHL, we have our off-season boards here on ProFSL) that i assumed commish duties in 2011 when the former commish needed personal time.

the handle "PigsRule" was inspired by the beer league hky team i started with buddies in Toronto, Might Pigs - a name we obviously got from an animated TV series... the logo below is our jersey crest. 



FULL DISCLOSURE + COMMISH STYLE
my commish style is straight-fwd, honest-open, do-what-i-say + say-what-i-do. it's easier that way.

i have a low threshold for complaining for the sole sake of complaining. if ppl have a legit concern/matter, let's sort it out with facts openly and be adults - if it needs to go offline, PM's are fine. if i goofed on a roster, salary, player count, pl. point it out... i don't take things personally... this is fantasy play, right!?! 

1 key rule for me in fantasy leagues is to keep rules stable, that means i'll do my best to address all unclear rules prior to the season starting (for FNHL, it'll happen once Sizz returns) and avoid making rule changes on the fly if humanly possible. all current pending FNHL rule reviews are filed in COMMISSIONER'S CORNER.

1 YEAR COMMITMENT
i've committed to co-commish'ing for 1 season because i believe in this 30-team league which has great ppl competing. i also believe 30-teams isn't a 1 person job. it's super deep as pools go. that means i will not leave without notice, unless i get smoked by a truck/bus.    at the end of the season i expect to step down and just focus on running .

as part of my 1-yr commitment to helping this league grow + evolve, i will pay the Fantrax $59.95 fee to ensure we can all use 1 site to compete. that's how much i believe in Franchise NHL and see it as an advanced league. not to mention we solve another FNHL issue.

just your offering to contribute is appreciated    but i made the decision to enjoy my fantasy time in FNHL and it's worth the investment given the group we have. 


i will also continue to recruit/invite competitive players to round out our league.

btw, thunderblade... you sure you want to be Toronto... you're nothing like the real team in that you are successful at building a winning team. just saying.
