Cubs and Cards agree to the following trade:

Cubs give:
SP Feldman, Scott, $5.8m  (2012)   $5.8m (Cubs to pay 2012 salary)

Cards give:
RP Marinez, Jhan, $0.3m  (P-n/a  $0.3m  $0.3m  $0.3m  $0.3m  $0.3m  $0.3m

Cubs do this deal to secure a good MI or closer for the future.  Had no intent to extend Feldman, who was acquired to assist another team cap wise, for Alex Wilson.  Marinez is the #6 prospect of the White Sox per BA.  Young (24), already received a brief call up to the bigs earlier, and actually pitched in the Futures Games after being in the ML.
