ILB Luke Kuechly - I am very happy with this pick. Davis can't be counted on and he can play OLB or ILB and Beason can play both as well. I do see Carolina trying out a 3-4 this year with what they did in the draft.G Amini Silatolu - Initally I was upset about this pick, but after I started reading more about him the more I liked it. They need some protection on the line for Newton and the running game (Williams, Stewart, Tolbert)DE Frank Alexander - He looks like a proto-typical LB-DE hybrid and good in a 3-4. He is fast off the edge, which if 3-4 happens, is a good thing.WR Joe Adams - A huge need for them. I am happy he fell down into the 4th after we traded up to get him. He is smaller (5'11", I think) but he will be help to Smith and Gettis.CB Josh Norman - Another big need. Looks like he has the potential to be a starter (but thats not hard in Carolina )P Brad Nortman - I just dont like taking P and K in the draft as majority of them go undrafted.DB D.J. Campbell - Just helping the atrocious secondary we had.
I hear Jeffrey did really bad at the interview. I think it would have been a reach to take him at 9 overall. I really thought they would take a DT or CB with that first pick. Their LB will be very strong tho.
He was the 6th overall player.
