If it is this player in question. He didn't look to be signed, and would NOT be eligible.

Here is the rule.
Only signed players (includes foreign players) that are under contract with the MLB are draftable. Unsigned College, High School, or Foreign players are not draftable.

  • Gilly: The XFL has arrived...Its NFL/MMA money league.  $35 entry fee.  This is a points based league for both sports.  Highest point total at end of NFL regular season which is also the end of the XFL MMA season wins.  Top 3 are paid out.   We use 18 man NFL roster with 10 starting positions (NO DL), and we are drafting by weight class for MMA (3) fighters each class.....this is quite a league and you should come check out the rules and see what you think.  [link]
