« on: March 22, 2012, 08:38:12 PM »
Im sure a bunch of you have now heard about fabrice muamba suffering a heart attack in the middle of the bolton tottenham game last week.. really scary stuff, he's alive and should recover, but he had stopped breathing and was "dead" for almost 80 minutes.

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/7718919/fabrice-muamba-how-athletes-fall

that grantland article by brian phillips is excellently written and gave me goose-bumps

  • Jonathan: Bidding is a place for offering contracts, send me a pm is you notice mistakes. I will delete irrelevant conversations that put a different time stamp on them.
  • Drew: Well kind of, you stickied them quickly after Cleveland bid
    Today at 07:02:49 PM
  • Jonathan: ? I stickied them for 5 minutes and noticed the mistake. I am human.
  • Drew: It's all just a bit shady
  • Jonathan: LOL but you didn't make a bid. Not my fault.
  • Drew: The shady part being that I am finally getting a response now that the bid clock is "officially" over!
  • Jonathan: I stickied for 5 minutes. Ask anybody in league. I am not restarting a bid for 5 minutes. That is ridiculous. You could of came anytime in the last 24 hours and made a bid and you didn't.
  • Drew: I'm just asking for some communication instead of deleting my posts with no mention of anything
    Today at 07:18:27 PM
  • Jonathan: I'll be sure to make note of it for when I send out the next PM for the next wave.
  • Jonathan: I would of been shady If I were the Cleveland owner, but I am not. The only shady thing is that I pay $80 a year to run the league.
