He lost what 3 family members in the span of 1 month? That's more than some people may go through in a few years. Chris-105 needs to read it.

After I read that story, I did. He is doing all this to help care for his little sister.

i lost my great-grandfather a few years ago then lost my dad the following year but to lose 3 family members in the span of a month would be too much. I have a lot of respect for Robinson and what he has done since then.

  • drejay25: It is a disgusting educational system we deal with nowadays...  I don't even want to get into the Elementary level and the way they teach to about 20% of the class so their scores go up and ignore the other 80%

  • VolsRaysBucs: When I start my own country one day, all parents who send their kids to public schools will be required to volunteer at least 10 hours per semester of in-classroom volunteer time.  This way they can see before they speak :)

  • VolsRaysBucs: you nailed it Dre...we no longer seek to raise those up to the bar, we simply lower the bar.  We teach to tests and rather than pay attention to those who actually WANT to be there and learn, we are forced to pander to the bottom feeders for the sake of no one being left behind or no one having their feelings hurt by realizing they aren't up to snuff...and the nation wonders why we are being lapped by the rest of the industrialized world?
