New York agrees to this trade to get a position of need in shooting guard as Beal and Suggs are always hurt and the Fantrax powers that be took away Melton's SG eligibility this year for a reason only known by them. We also save a tiny amount next year in cap space, which certainly helps. We hate to lose Little as we think he still has a lot of potential and a cheap contract, but he is injured and plays at positions we are already strong at. We think Branham could be a pretty good player down the road.
