Toronto Raptors / Brooklyn Nets Trade

Toronto Raptors trade:
Pascal Siakam $30m (2024) ($30m paid in 2022 and 2023, none paid in 2024)
Danilo Gallinari $5.1m (2022)


Brooklyn Nets trade:
Brooklyn Nets 1st Round Pick in 2023
Brooklyn Nets 1st Round Pick in 2024
Brooklyn Nets 2nd Round Pick in 2024
Jonathan Kuminga $4.6m (2025) RFA
Kenyon Martin Jr. $0.5m (2023)

Toronto makes this trade to add more young players and picks to continue the rebuild. We love Siakam and he is still young at 27 years old, but if we can get picks and young players and now have the cap space to replace Siakam with a young keeper or 2 in free agency in summer 2023 with the extra cap space this deal will work well for Toronto Raptors.

nets agree to be able to add a player like  siakam and it doesnt cost me money this yr and 2023 makes it well worth moveing draft picks and a couple of young players

I dont say good deal bad deal or i like this side better.  My goal is to provide a fair platform where people are free to trade and not be judged because nobody knows for sure how these trades will play out. Lots of ACLs are gonna tear between now and new years.  Im always happy that two strangers with different backgrounds can meet in our league and enjoy freedom to be themselves and do what THEY THINK is best.
