Reds Trade:
Kyle Tucker .5 (2022)

Angels Trade:
Anthony Volpe prospect
Colin Barber prospect
Alexander Vizcaino prospect

While I hate to lose a young stud the reality is Reds are in rebuild mode and need talent in numerous positions. With only one year left on Tucker's initial prospect contract I am moving on and looking to the future.

Reds bring in a top 15 milb prospect at a premier position in Volpe, An OF prospect in Barber that ranks as one of the top position players in his organization and a power pitcher in Vizcaino that has potential to be an MLB starter or at least a high end relief pitcher in my opinion. Most importantly they will be on very team friendly contracts as the Reds rebuild swings into gear

Angels agree to this deal.  Last season was painful to miss the big dance by a measly 16 points, and we really wanted to upgrade our OF.  The price was steep from a prospect standpoint, but we were only willing to part with that much talent for someone like Tucker, who is proven, has remaining upside, and a relatively team friendly contract for several more years.
