The Oakland A's have interest in Stephen Drew.  We are willing to offer Mark Ellis as a return MI.  In addition we can offer David Freese-CI and a draft pick (2010 3rd Round Pick). Let us know if you have interest.  Thanks

I like the deal except for the pick.  Can I upgrade it to a 2nd round pick if I give my 9th and 10th round picks to you?

You have a deal.  I will send you Ellis, Freese, and a 2010 2nd round pick for Drew and the 9th and 10th pick.  Post and I will reply.

I am looking to cut salary here...

OF Byrnes, Eric, $10m (2010)

for anyone who wants him.  The only thing I need is a catcher otherwise I'll take a replacement batter of any type.  I could deal draft picks to assist this move, but I would need some other players to make that deal.

I can take byrnes if you absorb half the salary at least. I donĀ“t have much hitting too offer, but I can give you bullpen help. Depending on who you want I might need a 3rd,4th round pick or a 7th,8th to compensate the salary cap hit.

New Arizona GM here  :toth:

I joined yesterday, so I'm still catching up with certain things...

My team obviously needs a C first... It needs improvement at the bullpen, and I could also use another CI or SP... MI and OF looks like the most solid part for now...

I have a lot of draft picks so I could exchange some... I can take big contracts... And I'm willing to deal Brynes and eat part of his salary...

Latter on I'll do a better update here, and maybe send some trade proposals ;)

TOP Priorities: C and OF

Players available:

P Zambrano, Carlos, $10.5mi (2012) (Recieving 8mi, his original contract is 18.5mi)
OF Byrnes, Eric, $10m (2010)
P Carmona, Fausto, $4m (2011)
MI Ellis, Mark, $5.5m (2010)

I would likely say none of my players are untouchable... Those are the ones I'm willing to deal, but with the right proposal I can move others...

I also have some draft picks and I can get both prospects or big contracts... If necessary I might also pay part of a player salary (specialy Brynes salary)...

Big-Z is on the block... He and his 10.5mi contract until 2012...

I'm interested in prospects, high draft picks, C, CI, OF or SP...

There is no desperation on him.. I'll just deal if I feel he deal is right...
