HOUSTON MLB CHAMPS
« on: September 24, 2018, 05:27:09 PM »
Houston has won the MLB Title for 2018. Congrats to both team, as Dave came in as a newbie to baseball and found a way to the finals. Aaron Hicks was the big producer with 70 fps.

Congrats to Milwaukee, they made a great run.

It's funny, last year I really thought I had the best team and I lost in the 2nd round to Detroit.  This year I thought I had about the third best team and I won it all.  Luck plays its part I guess.

Hey congrats Christec i thought i had it for a few days but ended up being the pace setter.  :toast:

Pretty interesting not much of a baseball guy but i did a lot of reading, some times too much. I feel i hav over extended myself a bit as i am strictly a hockey guy. I think i will try to find a co-manager here for basketball and football. I enjoyed the management factor of BB it was close to hockey management wise.
Can't we all just get along?

  • Brent: we all do.  it's by design
  • Daddy: Ok my friend
  • Brent: We have a 12 NFL week season.  To get 16 games in that season and to not have our multiple oppenent weeks schedules during NFL bye weeks, the schedule had to be front loaded.  2 oppenents weeks 1-2 and 3 oppenents week 3, then single oppenents to finish out the season with the last 3 games, NFL weeks 10, 11, 12 NFLC weeks 14, 15, 16 are all against division opponents.

  • Daddy: Week 3 becomes the most important week of the year.

  • Brent: It is
  • Brent: Don't go 0-3
  • Brent: WCE will go 0-3.  All of his best players are on the bench for tanttastic results.
  • Daddy: The Bye Weeks were always just a random byproduct in my schedules. Fair for all because we all had 1. Each week was worth 2 games but that was a condensed schedule because we started late.
  • Daddy: It is creative. Either way this week is the most important. Lets get it!
  • Daddy: WCE should be in the playoffs.
  • Brent: Yeah, I thought through it a lot and to use the NFL scheduling with the size of the league we had to have 16 games and to condense 16 games into 12 weeks to creativity.
  • Brent: yeah, but there is not tanking rules so it is what it is.
  • Brent: it's what he does
  • Brent: there should be some way to address it for next season
    Today at 01:19:50 AM
  • Daddy: Well, if he is fielding eligible guys and purposely not playing his starters, there isnt much to be done.
  • Daddy: I made WAR so that you had to start a guy at all times. Someone eligible. If you cana do that then tanking is what it is.
  • Brent: yeah, I know
  • Brent: i'll need to check the settings to see what options there are
