Looking to see what is out there in terms of CI as I have a potential deal I'm consider but will leave me thin at CI especially with injuries.

Open to all ideas and don't need a star just a healthy CI who gets majority of starts.

CI Eric Hosmer $7.5M (2019) I think he won't be expensive to extend.

I'd like to get a MLB CI in return (even with a bad contract) and one or two prospects.

  • Brent: Chargers are led by a GM who is a long time GM and has a history of building teams in all sports.  He wanted to build a team withi his vision. That's the beauty of a league like this.  This isn't Yahoo or ESPN where names and current production matter.  Age, contract, cap space, draft picks, etc are all factored in.  Few trades get vetoed as we leave it to the GMs to run their respective teams.
    October 20, 2019, 06:18:43 PM
  • Brent: The Chargers have an active GM who has a vision and is building the team how he wants.  He's been questioned about what he gave to get Josh Allen, but he has defended it repeatedly here in chat.  It is difficult to get young cost controlled QBs so he made a move to get the guy he wanted.
    October 20, 2019, 06:20:15 PM
  • jojowalkwalk: True but I don;t undertand the move
    October 20, 2019, 08:18:41 PM
  • Brent: I was replying to Teddy who questioned the integrity of the league b/c of that trade.  I didn't know you had an issue with it.  We could go through all of the trades in this league and this site and nobody has trades that aren't questionable.
