I don't get why Mets would trade 28 year old Segura for 2 old platoon/utility players, could have gotten a lot more. That being said I don't think it's vetoable since the points will probably be in his favor this year.

I understand the availability of Segura, expiring contract on a team with a surplus of MIs, but I don’t really see the value being exchanged.  AGon is well past his prime, has been declining the past few years and his health is now becoming a factor.  Howie Kendrick is a bench player who is injury prone.  Jean Segura is in his prime years and is worth much more than two fading veterans.  This is compounded by the fact that the Mets will also have to drop an additional player to accommodate this 2 for 1 trade.  This trade seems destined to pass, but I can’t see giving it a vote of approval.
