You should not be over the cap at anytime. I know that phoenix is over cap but that was my fault, i missed a guy on the spreadsheet. I already have a plan that i PMed him about.

So..... with this whole prospect contract thing, if we move on to the active roster, regardless when they reach there 40 game limit, the max time is 2 years? So say if someone has a guy who only plays 30 games this year, it doesnt make any difference because the time has started. Also, once they are promoted then they cant be demoted and essential restart that clock?  I am thinking that the rules mean you can have them at that contract for a max 2 years and you can't ever send them down. Just wondering.

if a player is under 40 games, you can move him back and forth with the minors all you want. But once he hits 40 games he has to stay on your major roster and cannot be sent down to the minors. The prospect contract lasts from the year that he hits 40, (it could be the first game of the year, or the last, doesnt matter), and the next year after that. And you can extend them whenever you want.

What is the deal with LTIR..... when a guy comes back, then how long would I have to bring him back to my active roster and im guessing he just needs to be able to be put there on fantrax?

Longterm Injured Reserve
Each team will have one Longterm IR slot.  Players on LTIR do not count against the cap.  LTIR is intended for players who are expected be out for an extended period of time: at least 10 games or 24 days.  Once a player on LTIR is healthy and back to NHL action they may remain on LTIR until the end of the current season, at which point all LTIR players who are healthy will be added back to their teams 30 man roster. 

This rule will be added as it was not clear in the rules.

When will the basebal draft happen?

In hockey what if i want too add 2 players i inherited Vancouver which is right at the cap.  There is one player i designated for IR.   Will i be able to sign the 2 players i bidded on?
