No I am trying to get it the emails that it used to send when someone posted on a post you previously posted on.  The notification used to come to you via email.  I have everything setup to notify me when people post on topics I have checked to do so and it is not working at all.  Just like this topic I have selected to notify me, but it isn't.

If I may suggest something, I don't think we should scrap the contraction drafts for NBA and NHL. We've already done contraction drafts for MLB and NFL so we should do the NBA and NHL contraction drafts as well.

Problem with the NBA and NHL is that there is only a few players that are worth a while and wont make a difference much after those pick an when the rookies are gone.

I partially agree. But also, taking out the contraction draft would probably favor those already with the best teams because they'll be willing to spend a majority of their budget on 1 player to make them almost unstoppable. The lower teams who are multiple players from competing wouldn't be willing to spend most of their budget on a player so the top players would probably go to the already top teams

I see that NHL Entry draft order has been posted, but it looks to me that we took the order following the consolation playoffs. My :WAS-NHL: finished with the 2nd worst regular season record, but we are now the #4 pick.

I believe that we are no longer counting the consolation playoffs toward the final standings/draft order: http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=79653.0

No Problem.

I just didn't want to unfairly end up with the #1 overall pick ( :TBL: 1st ) since it was discussed knowing it would be 3rd overall pick.

  • Daddy: Apparently the MLB has put forth the idea of reducing the number of minor-league teams by more than a quarter (42 teams would be cut in the reported proposal). Additionally, MLB's proposal would reduce the draft to 20 rounds, reduce the number of contracted players in each organization, and alter the structure -- with some affiliates moving up or down in level.
