ok ok, this is a serious one.  Not much of a fan of our chat box, especially when I compare it to the functionality and ease of the chat box on Fantrax.

1) I like league specific chat boxes.  (not necessary but its nice sometimes)
2) being able to Private message  a user is pretty sweet when trying to bang out a trade vs. having to use the email system.
3) being able to see who is and who isn't online makes for a much more inviting chat.  a lot of times I look and notice that hey jeff is online, let bang out a trade. jeff.
Basically my gist of the post is take a look at the fantrax chat box and that is what we should be striving for on ours with regards to functionality.

Now something that is probably going to be a fair bit harder to fix .... I will be honest , i run my own 16 team dynasty league and I run it completely through fantrax. I use their forums and everything.  Not because their forums are better but mainly because I hate flip flopping between two different sites and by paying for a premium league most of my duties as a commissioner are automated or GMS can do themselves (extensions/contract rollovers/no duplicate work ie dont have to drop a player on fantrax and on profsl).  I know there was an effort in the past to create a scoring system within Profsl and I really believe that's where the future is and would drive more loyalty and revenue.  But if you do it, it would need to be done right , robust scoring systems with advanced commissioner features.  Basically what I am suggesting is instead of Profsl acting as a complement or an offshoot to fantrax , you should go in direct competition with them.

AS a commissioner I am more than willing to pay 60 to 100 a year that I do to have the conveniences and huge time savings it brings me.

The ads that are running screw with people's computers.  They need to be cleaned up or re-coded.  I doesn't matter what you do if you can't attract new users.  That's priority number one.

Does anybody else have a problem with how slow the site is? This site takes forever to load for me at times and I am constantly refreshing. A lot of times I have to "kill" the page and reload it. When I type it sometimes takes 5 to 10 seconds for the letters to show up. Very frustrating. Every other site works fine and fast. Just ProFSL. Anybody have any idea why?

This did have to do with some ads we had running that werent very good.  Colby canned them and went with a different, low resource, ad stream.  They shouldnt be using very many resources to operate and my ProFSL runs fine now.

I really like the idea of private messaging or messaging within leagues.    I am not a huge fan of the one for all chat.   Until the last week I didn't even open it.

I joined this site with the opportunity to take a team and build it to win a league. After that win, qualify for the Invitationals.

Sadly, those were dropped in favor of money leagues. We need to go back to the invitationals. If you want a money league, go to that other site.

jwalk100, agree with you.   You and i have been in leagues together for many years and I have been very outspoken about certain things.

Saying that I do think that each concept would greatly benefit from having one money league per each sector.   Saying that, what hurts every league is we get people that join too many leagues and then when they don't do well they either quit outright or don't show up.   The burden of finding people to take over some of these teams is dauting.   We have seen this time and time again.

Another thing that is troubeling is the egos surrounding things.   We have seen time and again that the ego of personality does not allow one to do what is right for a league but only how it benefits ones self.   We drastically need for all members to take a really active role in strengening our brand.   I realize that not everyone will agree with this but this is my thought

Make it more friendly for touch enabled devices.  lets face it,  probably half the devices if not more accessing the site are either phones or tablets.

Trying to use the drop down menus for things like the "leagues" or the other ones i absolutely hate on touch devices. (especially my surface using the edge browswer, chrome works better but i hate the looks of it).

Not just touch friendly but mobile friendly. The site needs to resize based on your screen size so that on bigger screens we don't have ugly black bars on the side, and on small phones you don't have to scroll horizontally.

Ive got a question for you guys, what would you like to see from the site to improve it.

I know ProFSL took a pretty big hit when Corey left and obviously activity of the site would help it out.

Fix the things that are still broken or have had an open help ticket for months!
