Notes on August Waivers

These are just a few highlights:
1.) Waived players are subject to a 72 hour period in which any team may claim them.
2.) ALL players exchanged in a Waiver Period Trade must have cleared Waivers except those designated P n/a. This includes those that have been waived and those who are offered in trade.
3.) After the initial 72 hours, teams have an additional 72 hours to negotiate a deal. Within this 72 hour period the waiving team can revoke the waiver. Any trades made must be posted AND confirmed within 72 hours.
4.) Waiver Period Trades are subject to TC approval.

At what point can I pull a waivered player back off waivers?

Do I have to wait till the initial 72hrs has past after the player was posted on waivers to post an agreed upon trade?

A:: You can revoke the waivers at anytime after he was claimed by another team.

Q: Do I have to wait till the initial 72hrs has past after the player was posted on waivers to post an agreed upon trade?

A:  Yes, the initial 72 hours has to pass before posting a trade because all teams have to be given a chance to make a claim.  Since you're an AL team, AL teams will be given priority over NL teams, based on W-L records.
