Apologize for the dumb question,  but how do we know who has left EPL?    I just figured that if they ended up on my team,  they are in the league.

Nope, they can all move to Italy tomorrow. This is not the NBA :P
Van Persie was sold on the very day I drafted him...

One suggestion (coming from someone who managed not to keep this in his mind during draft)- personally think the budget for FA (ie 40 is fine) but would suggest to lower the min bid amount to 1.

Why:
1. You will have injuries/transers/etc- a lot of things happen during one year and with a max of 40 you can get 8 players (granted OK) but at the min price
2. Will encourage people to find value- you see a big start coming to Chelsea- grab him. Find me someone who will do a good job at Aston Villa? Look at matchups? Will encourage spending more time on trades and/or moves and should be more fun.

Again all for Cesc, Aguero and co but think its actually cooler to win with a team full of Stoke/Swansea/WBA stars look, paid defenders, etc vs getting the top guy.

My 5 cents...

I see where you're coming from. This is something I asked myself before I designed this. Both environments work of course, depending on what you're trying to achieve. Yours is more dynamic, and exciting for those 2-3 managers who would be active enough to tweak things on a weekly basis. Mine is more similar to coaching an actual team (free agents are like actual transfers, you'll think twice before spending those $5) and more relaxed for those who want a steady job. Maybe I was a bit egoistic too, because I'll go offline for 6 weeks. Btw I could have gone into even more long-term planning by making this a keeper, but decided against it as the ProFSL community is just not active enough. Every summer for the past 3 years I had to recruit for half the teams again and again, and nobody wants a crappy team with no future perspectives...

PS
If I had chosen for your dynamism, I would have also set the draft minimum at $1.

I guess it's safe to say the first round of free agency went quite smoothly.
Congrats on all your new players! :toast:

:Swansea: compensated for the sale of Angel di Maria.
I'm online tonight, and then back online for good in 8 days, in case you have other claims.

  • indiansnation: Ok if mlb is struggeling to pay their minor league players and u cut draft down to 20 rd draft. Their will be a crap liad of players that milb can sign. Look at mlb last yr with vet players how many didnt get offers. U dont think those players wont go for milb if they get a good enough contract. Mlb can totaly screw them selves easy.
