Washinton Capitals reason behind this: with Ilya Bryzgalov hitting 30 I turn to a younger solid goalie and a young exciting defenseman (Erik Karlsson) that will help me for years to come. Also have high hopes that Troy Brouwer will turn his game back to being productive after an off year.

I really like this deal... LA prepares itself for a solid run now, while Washington gets itself together for tomorrow. Good deal, but I definitely have to give the edge to LA as he already has two starters on his team.

Don't like this deal as LA is in my division and now has 3 starters if Bryz stays in NHL. Daley and pick don't mean mean. LA wins if Bryz is in NHL. WSH wins if Bryz leaves.
