According to a December 9, 2013 NHL.com post, NHL commissioner Gary B advised the NHL Board of Governors that the 2014-15 season's Cap
Limit will be approximately $71,000,000 and
a projected Cap Floor of approximately $52,000,000

I did a search and found this article from TSN about the NHL increasing to $71.1 million for the 2014-15 season but this was posted on December 9, 2013 so take it with a grain of salt.

The final 2014-15 cap limits could be even higher.
That could mean a lot of cash for some teams to play with.
