As many know I value my prospects, sometimes more than I should. I believe in building through the draft much more so than through FA, build through trade using my farm players blurs my long term for my teams. I have to relook at CBJ after the dust of this trade settles, off season direction the key. So yeah the trade......I have looked at the man with all the goalies in the league for potential moves just never reached out. I didn’t anticipate Bishop being the guy. In my opinion I’m paying a lot from my future but I’m getting a lot for now and the next 2 seasons. No doubt Batherson, Alexeyev and Kravtsov are going to be solid NHLers. Batherson is already up and doing well in his adjustment, Alexeyev will be up next season as will Kravtsov. My return of Bishop, Oshie and Cousins will push CBJ into the conversation of the money. Hopefully it’s enough in the meat grinder East. Thanks Antman for the talks.......I should have reached out a month ago.
