Buffalo makes this deal to unload some bodies and a vet Goalie seeing less time for some young guns to replenish the Sabres. The key for me is Kuznetsov, kid has another gear or two in him. Calgary Flames pleased to confirm this trade with our Atlantic Division counterpart. We are getting a 33yo backup with the ability to steal more starts over the next couple of seasons. Not easy to part ways with Kuznetsov, one of my favourite players but I still have Benn and Scheifele to lead the crew to lead the way.
