Who has the possibility to do anything out of the group your getting Detroit?  Oduya is 29 years old, he is in his prime now and has yet to put up big points. 

Sheahan was 21st overall pick last year.  Helm and Bertuzzi are your 5th and 6th best scorers, both at great cap hits.  This trade is fishy and I vote no.

After doing a little thinking. I don't like this trade either, atlanta is wining by way to much. Yes cap hit's match. But detroit is ending up with a shut down dman and cormier who might be something. I can understand wanting to get younger but you can't just give them away.

Sorry but the job of the TC is to ensure a competitive balance...you've seen our problems with the trade, re-work it!  I think you would be happy we've stopped you from such a terrible trade.  It's nothing personal either, it's just good policy.

You FN were getting Cormier (2/54 in 2008...not bad), Oduya (a 7th round selection from 2001 who has never reached any potential at all?), Kulda (another 7th rounder...) and Klingberg (could be decent, a second round choice) for trading; Bertuzzi (100+ pts), Helm (100+ pts), Sheahan (Pick 1/21 in 2010), and Hudler (2/58 in 2002, but who's only 27 which is the beginning of his peak, and has scored at least 30+ pts in each of the last three seasons and 50+ in one of them).

You get no guaranteed production back, and the spects you give up are just as good as, if not better, than the ones in return.  It helps the Red Wings in almost no way, I at least cannot see one way.  Therefore I vetoed.
